The job title may sound a lot more professional than my line of work, but it sure its a lot of fun. You probably understand that if you’re the creative type.
How I Got Started Decorating with Pine Garlands…
Anyway, I got into garland decorating because I love rustic, natural home decor. Think country ranch, modern farmhouse or mountain cabin. They all have a casual, comfortable relaxing style that makes you feel like you’re on vacation, right?
Having said that, I have never been much into decorating for the holidays. That is, until I discovered that I could use woodsy decor or artificial greenery to dress up my home without getting too fancy.
In fact, many of these outdoorsy garlands, pinecones and lights I leave up all winter long. I get to enjoy them for more than just 1 month out of the year, which makes them a better value anyway.
And speaking of a good value, you can save money and make your own custom garland with branches, pinecones and other greenery from your backyard. Plus, you can buy lights and other accessories separately without having to invest in a more expensive pre-assembled version.
Not to mention, garlands and wreaths take minutes to set up. I mean, decorating for the holidays is fun, but not if it’s a lot of work, right?
